Our emergency department is the front door of the hospital for anyone who arrives in crisis. It is staffed round the clock by casualty medical officers with immediate access to operating theatres, intensive care, laboratory and imaging.

Trauma, cardiac events, obstetric emergencies, poisoning and paediatric emergencies are all received here and triaged without delay.
